After spending time with the Marker for my YouTube review, it’s clear that Monarc wasn’t interested in making just another fat tire ebike. Instead, they packed in premium features that are normally reserved for much more expensive bikes while keeping the price surprisingly affordable.

Two Batteries Change Everything

The Monarc Marker includes two 720Wh batteries right from the factory.
That gives riders a massive 1,440Wh of total energy available without purchasing an expensive battery upgrade later.
For riders who like long weekend adventures, beach cruising, hunting trails, or simply don’t want range anxiety, this is one of the Marker’s biggest advantages.
Replacement batteries are usually one of the most expensive parts of any ebike, so getting a second battery included significantly increases the overall value.
Bafang Motor Delivers Plenty of Power
One thing I always like seeing is a quality motor from a manufacturer with a proven track record.
The Marker uses a 750W Bafang rear hub motor producing up to 85Nm of torque.
Acceleration feels smooth and predictable while still providing plenty of power for climbing hills or reaching Class 3 speeds.
Unlike many inexpensive hub motors, Bafang has built a reputation for reliability over many years, making it one of the safer choices in the ebike industry.
Better Components Than Most Competitors
One area where the Marker really surprised me was the component selection.
Instead of cutting costs, Monarc chose parts that are usually found on more expensive bikes.
Highlights include:

- Hydraulic 4-piston brakes
- Reverse-arch suspension fork
- Kenda fat tires
- Color touchscreen display
- Integrated lighting with turn signals

The four-piston hydraulic brakes deserve special mention.
Many ebikes under $2,000 still use basic two-piston brakes. Having four pistons gives stronger stopping power, especially important on an 85-pound fat tire ebike capable of 28 MPH.

Ride Quality
The Monarc Marker is designed as an upright adventure bike rather than an aggressive mountain bike.

If your budget is around $2,000, I think the Marker deserves to be near the top of your list.
The included second battery alone gives it a major advantage over many competitors.
Then you add:

- Long five-year warranty

That’s a combination that’s difficult to beat in today’s market.
Final Thoughts
The Monarc Marker doesn’t reinvent the fat tire ebike, but it doesn’t need to.
Instead, it focuses on giving riders more value than almost anything else in its class.
For around $2,000, you’re getting quality components, excellent range thanks to the included dual batteries, dependable Bafang power, modern electronics, and one of the strongest overall feature packages currently available.
